2:00 - 3:00 PM — Session 2: Rising Together: The Essential Role of Healed Black Men in Building Strong Women, Families and Communities
Join us for a powerful and transformative session that centers the voices, experiences, and healing journeys of Black men who are committed to doing the inner work of healing and leading with love. Rising Together explores how healed and healthy Black men are essential to the wellness of Black women, the strength of Black families, and the resilience of our communities. Through real stories, lived wisdom, and actionable insights, this session invites participants into a space of reflection, restoration, and possibility. Together, we will examine how men standing in healing and wholeness can help shift generational patterns, foster thriving relationships, and co-create communities grounded in care, accountability, and legacy. More than a conversation, Rising Together is a vision for what’s possible when Black men and women rise in partnership — to build a future rooted in love, wellness, and collective power. Come ready to listen, reflect, and rise.

2:00 - 3:00 PM — Session 3: Rest, Resilience & Resistance: A New Paradigm for Liberation Work
Too often, Black women are asked to critique the world as it is — but rarely are we invited to dream the world as it could be. This interactive session flips that script. Rooted in the Black Women Deserve framework, participants will engage in a practice of freedom-centered worldbuilding that connects imagination to liberation. Together, we will explore how rest, resilience, and resistance all require imagination — the ability to see ourselves as worthy of care, to envision a future beyond harm, and to believe that oppression will not have the final say. Through small-group visioning, creative exercises, and collective reflection, we will plant seeds of possibility and practice building the liberated worlds we deserve.

2:00 - 3:00 PM — Session 4: Sacred Ground: Reclaiming The Outdoors As Our Sanctuary
The outdoors is not just a place of refuge—it is our heritage. For generations, Black people have had an ancestral relationship with the land as healers, growers, protectors, and visionaries. That relationship has been disrupted by exclusion, displacement, and harm, yet it cannot be erased. This session invites us to reclaim the natural world as sacred ground—a space for rest, resilience, and resistance. Together with Black and Indigenous outdoor leaders and wellness advocates, we will explore how engaging with nature can reconnect us to our heritage, nurture our spirits, strengthen our bodies, and fortify our communities. Through storytelling, reflection, and interactive practice, participants will leave with tools and inspiration to embrace the outdoors as a sanctuary and inheritance that belongs to us.

3:15 - 4:15 PM — Session 6: Unmasking Strength: Black Women Choosing Healing & Renewal
We’ve all heard the message: Black women must be strong—carry it all, do it all, and push through no matter what. But what if true strength lies not in sacrifice, but in sovereignty over our mental and emotional well-being? In this transformative afternoon session, nationally acclaimed mental health expert and dynamic speaker Dr. Dominique Pritchett invites women to shed the superwoman cape and explore a new vision of power rooted in stability, support, and stamina. Through real talk, reflection, and powerful insights, Dr. Pritchett will guide you in shifting the narrative from survival mode to soul-centered wellness. This isn’t just a workshop—it’s a call to liberation. Come ready to reclaim your wellness, restore your energy, and walk in a version of strength that supports the woman you’re becoming!

Through this workshop, Charisse will guide us into a circle of remembrance and reconnection – a space where embodiment, ancestry and culture are honored, and where joy and pleasure are reclaimed as birthbrights held within the body. This is more than just a workshop — this is an invitation to pause, breathe and return home to yourself, your people and the sacred rhythms of our natural world.
